This is the father of Romeo, otherwise known as Brian Dennehy, or Ted Montague. He seems like a fair, and decent man. Ted is a quiet, sensible, understanding, conservative man and I think that he was smart to let Romeo live his own life and be. Ted's wife is played by Christina Pickles and they both seem to share the same qualities.
