Romeo's Best Friend
Mercutio played by Harold Perrineau is Romeo's best friend. He has befriended Romeo and has also stayed on the good side of the Capulets. He likes to show his wild side and he isn't afraid to show a little leg. He always has a way of explaining things that aren't comprehendable to Romeo. Romeo could have not picked a more sensible, loyal friend than Mercutio. Yet Mercutio takes a tragic turn in a fight where every man is for himself and where his luck ran out.
