Claire Danes stars as the beautiful Juliet, daugther of Capulet. She is pretty, kind, caring, sweet, understanding, and the perfect girl for Romeo. Her parents expect her to marry the young and rich Paris, but she has different plans. It is when she meets Romeo where she begins to learn the true meaning of love. She is a young teenager, no more than sixteen years of age, but she matures and grows as her love for Romeo grows. Her marriage with Romeo only lasts about a week but that doesn't matter. Juliet would do anything for Romeo......even die for him.
